What size should my child be?

Based on the weight of the last BVC visit alternative weight your child before ordering. The sizes are large, so if your child's weight is between two sizes, we recommend going for the smaller size.

Why aren't HumbleBummies 100% biodegradable?

Due to the basic functional requirements of a diaper (ie to collect and hold liquid) all disposable diapers must contain a small amount of plastic. No disposable diaper in the world is 100% biodegradable. We work hard to find an alternative to the small amount of plastic found in our diapers, which is necessary to create the ultra-absorbent, leak-free diapers like HumbleBummies.

How do I recycle the nappies?

When it comes to recycling and degradability, it is important that the diapers and our packaging are handled in an environmentally friendly way. To recycle our diapers, we recommend that they be placed in combustible waste/household garbage. In Sweden, you are not allowed to recycle diapers due to legal requirements. We use it as a marketing usp to explain the small amount of plastic in our diapers.

Why should I choose HumbleBummies over other organic options?

Our diapers differ from the rest of the market for a few important reasons:

Our nappies are 100% bamboo fiber – meaning that the top and back layers of the nappies (i.e. all parts that touch the skin) are made from 100% sustainably sourced bamboo. The diapers are 82% plastic-free, which is much less when compared to "regular" diapers.

In addition, HumbleBummies contain no dyes, bleaches, fluorides, alcohol, preservatives, latex, polyvinyl chloride, phthalates, dioxins, or fragrances.

Our packaging contains no plastic at all. Our packages are paper, and our boxes are cardboard.

What is the climate footprint of the diapers?

We have calculated our climate footprint for the entire process on our diapers. If you use the diapers for a year, it gives a climate footprint of approx. 7 kg (equivalent to approx. 3 miles of driving in a normal-sized petrol car), which we are also proud of as the average Swede consumes approx. 7 tonnes/year.

Are all products organic?

Yes! All our products are organic.

What do the diapers contain?

• Material that touches the baby's skin: 100% organically produced bamboo viscose, fully compostable.
• Diaper filling: 100% FSC-labeled and fully compostable organically produced cellulose, as well as a small amount of harmless absorbent.
• Elastic (at waist and thighs): Eco-friendly synthetic material (polypropylene).
• Tape: Specially developed environmentally friendly tape.

What do the wet wipes contain?

Ingredients: 99% Water, 100% Bamboo Fiber, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Glycerin (Natural Moisturizer), Levulinic Acid (Skin Conditioner), Sodium Levulinate (PH Balance Adjuster), Sodium Benzoate (Food Grade Preservative), and a small amount of Sodium Chloride.

How does the subscription work?

Our monthly subscription service is a super convenient and cost effective way to ensure you never run out of diapers again. You will have a month's supply of diapers shipped to your door each month from the date of your first order (ie if you place your first order on January 1st, your next delivery will be February 1st). Signing up for a subscription means discounted prices and free shipping, always + a small welcome gift that fits the diaper bag. You can update your details (ie size, delivery address, payment information) via your account which you will be prompted to set up when you place your first order. You can also cancel at any time under "manage subscriptions" when you're logged into your account - but we doubt you'll want to ;)

How do I return my product (in case of subscription)?

If you want to return a product, you register it via our returns management platform here . HumbleBummies has included a returns slip to make it as easy as possible to return products when subscribing. Once your return package is received at the HumbleBummies warehouse, our staff will check that the return meets our return policy and then approve or deny the refund.

How do I return my product (single package)?

If you want to return a product, you register it via our returns management platform. We will then send you a return slip via email. It is a confirmation that the return request is approved (note that it only applies that the request is approved, not the return). Once your return package is received at the HumbleBummies warehouse, our staff will check that the return meets our return policy and then approve or deny the refund.

How are refunds made on returns?

We will refund after we have processed the return, which usually takes 14 days.

Can I change my order once it has been completed?

No, unfortunately you cannot adjust your order afterwards.

Where is my order confirmation?

If you have entered your email address at the time of purchase, you will receive an order confirmation via email.

Can I track my order?

After your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number that you can use to track the package. You can also log in and see your order if you have an account created with us. Don't forget to check your junk mail for order confirmation.

How long is the delivery time?

We ship all orders from our warehouse in Sweden. We deliver internationally and the countries we can currently deliver to are Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden. We offer different shipping options depending on your needs and you can find estimated delivery times below:

My package was damaged during delivery. What do I do?

Contact us at info@humblebummies.com and we'll help you! Feel free to take pictures of the damage and send the pictures directly in the email for faster handling of the matter.

Can I add the discount code afterwards if I forgot to do it at the time of purchase?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to have the discount applied afterwards.

What certifications do HumbleBummies have?

We have been looking for a supplier for a long time than ticking all the boxes. We are Forest Stewardship Certified (ie our bamboo comes from sustainably managed forests), Sedex audited (our factory has been audited to ensure it is safe, clean and fair to employees). Oeko-tex certified (ie we carry out sustainable textile production) and SGS certified (our biodegradability has been independently tested by SGS).

Who are the owners of HumbleBummies?

HumbleBummies is 100% Swedish owned. A family-run company based in Nacka, Stockholm. HumbleBummies is created by parents of toddlers for parents of toddlers.
